About the Role
As a Payroll Manager at Degreed, you’ll lead the global payroll function, ensuring smooth and compliant payroll processing across both domestic and international entities. Key Skills
- International Payroll Management | Experience with US and international payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local wage and tax regulations;
- Payroll Systems Expertise | Expertise with payroll platforms like ADP (US) and Papaya (International), and strong knowledge of global payroll tax regulations;
- Communication & Problem-Solving | Ability to resolve payroll discrepancies and communicate payroll matters to employees clearly and effectively;
- Process Optimization | Seek opportunities to improve payroll processes, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring accuracy in payroll management;
- Employee-Centric Service | Description: A strong commitment to supporting employees by ensuring payroll and benefits needs are addressed promptly and accurately;
- Analytical Ability | Skilled in payroll data analysis and journal entries, with NetSuite experience preferred;
- Collaboration | Work effectively across departments such as HR and finance, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead payroll processing for both US & international companies, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and payroll accuracy;
- Manage payroll systems (ADP, Papaya) and collaborate with HR and finance to streamline operations;
- Optimize payroll processes, driving efficiencies and improving employee experience;
- Ensure accurate data reporting and payroll journal entries, collaborating with the finance team to ensure reconciliation;
- Address employee payroll inquiries, offering timely and effective support to maintain employee satisfaction;
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with global payroll regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
The total annual compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
